I began my career as assistant solicitor for the 9th Circuit Solicitors Office. I prosecuted drug crimes, violent crimes, and property crimes for six years before leaving to work for a large law firm in Charleston.
I practiced civil litigation for another five years, trying personal injury/car accident cases and appearing in courts all around South Carolina. At this same time I also served as a City of Charleston Municipal Prosecutor and a City of Goose Creek Municipal Prosecutor, prosecuting DUI/DUAC cases. I also was the City of Charleston Livability Prosecutor for more than five years, prosecuting loud noise, minors in possession of alcohol and fake ID cases.
